The Revolutionary War was a slow and painful war. Their was a lot of blood shed. The british regulars fought against the continental army. Britian was the best army in the world at the time. Their were many involved in the revolution but the two main commanders were George Washington and Lord Cornwalis. At the Battle of Yorktown Lord Cornwalis surrendered. That was the end of the war, but not the end of the revolution. The revolution ended when King George signed a peace treaty in Paris, France.
